What's the Job?
- Serve as the primary commercial interface for the site, partnering with business teams to optimize planning and execution processes.
- Review site business plans and identify commercial strategies to deliver incremental value.
- Lead commercial activities including bids, negotiations, and settlements to support site objectives.
- Train local business partners on key procurement activities and represent procurement at sustainability events.
- Coordinate field walks with suppliers and mentor strategic buyers supporting the plant remotely.
- Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of business processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze and review business plans to identify commercial opportunities.
- Proven ability to lead procurement activities and support supplier relationships.
- Comfortable troubleshooting issues impacting site reliability and collaborating with back-office support.
