Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights

Our client, in consumer packaged goods (foods) is seeking an Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights to join their team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and able to translate consumer behavior into actionable business strategies.

Job Title: Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights

Location: Hoboken (work from home 3 days a week)

Contract: 8 Months (extension possible)

Pay Range: $50 - $60 hourly (W2 only)

What’s the Job?

• Seeking a passionate and analytical insights professional to join our Consumer & Market Insights team where role focuses on leading innovation research to support the development and optimization of new products and renovations across North American markets
• Lead and execute consumer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative methods to support innovation and renovation initiatives.
• Translate business questions into research plans, develop hypotheses, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Planning to align insights with execution plans.
• Monitor consumer trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and pilot new research tools and agile methodologies.
  
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 5 years of experience in consumer insights and innovation strategy, preferably in CPG or food-related industries.
• Some CPG experience is also required 2 years
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design, focus groups, and data analysis.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
