What's the Job?
- Lead the development and ownership of work streams with business and technology stakeholders to address complex business problems.
- Partner with global teams such as Global Markets Financial Risk, Global Risk Analytics, and Model Risk Management to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Propose innovative technology solutions, facilitate stakeholder agreement, and oversee the cost estimation and budgeting processes.
- Develop prototypes using Python, SQL, Excel/VBA to demonstrate solutions and support decision-making.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, manage releases, migrations, and track defect resolution to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Extensive experience in Market Risk, Risk, or Front Office roles within financial markets.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and regulatory landscape affecting risk management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, VBA, and Python for data analysis and solution development.
- Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and all phases of project lifecycle.
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Finance, or a related field with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
