What's the Job?
- Facilitate the due diligence process for prospective partners, working closely with business development teams to ensure consistency and quality checks.
- Execute accurate and timely due diligence refreshes for existing partners based on defined risk levels.
- Assess the risk associated with prospects and partners, recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts such as Compliance and Financial Crime teams to gather necessary input and ensure compliance.
- Engage proactively with partners to gather documentation, ensure timely responses, and communicate requirements clearly and effectively.
- Extensive experience in Customer Due Diligence or Compliance within regulated financial environments.
- Strong understanding of due diligence methodologies, industry guidelines (FATF, JMLSG), and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in client due diligence procedures, sanctions screening, and monitoring.
- Ability to document activities, decisions, and rationale clearly, considering regulatory and reputational risks.
