Senior Accountant

We seek a passionate, self-driven, honest, and experienced accounting professional with high integrity to join our team. (Please note THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION).

Responsibilities

As an in-house Senior Accountant, you will play a significant role in the company's growth and success. You will be responsible for the financial management of our company, including but not limited to:

• Managing Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
• Streamlining billing and contracts, managing payroll, and ensuring timely disbursements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting, bank reconciliation.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting.
• Produce financial statements as required.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries to coordinate and approve financial transactions.
• Managing banking and partner relationships, investor and Executive presentations.
  
  

Qualifications.

The candidate must possess:

• At least 10-12 years of experience with increasing responsibility within the corporate accounting/finance department.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher from a recognized institution. CPA preferred.
• Well-versed with GAAP and other accounting practices and Nexus regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Excel and other MS Office Suite, Sage, and other accounting applications.
• Excellent communication- written and verbal.
• Pleasing personality.
