Job Description
We are seeking a Junior PMO Support Planning Specialist to support ' Project Management Office (PMO) . This role is responsible for assisting the Platform and Project Planning Manager in achieving project timing, labor, and investment objectives while ensuring successful execution of vehicle development programs.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cross-functional automotive projects from planning through vehicle launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall project schedules and phase-wise program timelines to ensure successful project execution.
- Create, manage, and track project bulletins and bulletin responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare governance presentations and product action request documentation.
- Monitor project timing, labor utilization, validation activities, and prototype financial targets.
- Support Project Management Team (PMT) meetings and Program Reviews.
- Manage vehicle build plans and coordinate vehicle deliveries for validation activities.
- Support commercial vehicle launch planning with Brand, Manufacturing Plants, and Purchasing teams.
- Track project milestones, risks, action items, and deliverables.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates for project leadership.
- Work closely with Vehicle Project Teams, Platform Planning Managers, and Chief Vehicle Engineers (CVE).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance from an ABET-accredited university.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Automotive Industry (OEM or Tier-1 Supplier).
- Exposure to Product Development Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Accounting, or Quality.
- Knowledge of Program Life Cycle Management.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Processes and vehicle development programs.
- Experience supporting project planning, scheduling, and program execution.
