ESTIMATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review designs to ensure budgets, show regulation compliance, and client objectives are met
- Review designs prior to client submission to confirm fabrication feasibility, ballpark pricing, and value engineering
- Complete accurate and detailed estimates including materials and labor for custom fabrication projects
- Review vendor pricing to ensure profit margins are being maintained
- Coordinate with outside specialized fabricators, as needed, to maintain client deadlines
- Participate in regular production meetings, job launches, and staff meetings to interact and communicate effectively with all departments and staff ensuring optimum results and scheduling
- Assist in monitoring of rental inventory; communicate and assist operations in determining necessity for additional rental inventory property purchases
- Assist with Reconciling costs with accounting
- Promptly and professionally respond to client inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Continually educate self on new product lines, construction techniques, audio visual, and lighting.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- We are looking for a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent
- Working knowledge of industry fabrication techniques and product information
- Excellent problem resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
