Discovering your exciting role
Performs assembly of a wide range of electro-mechanical systems, including plumbing subassemblies and final product integration, with minimal supervision. Demonstrates the ability to assemble products across multiple product families, interpret more complex documentation, and troubleshoot basic issues. Actively supports production flow, quality, and safety standards, including regular participation in the Safety Behavior Observation (SBO) program.

The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.

Performs assembly of a wide range of electro-mechanical systems, including plumbing subassemblies and final product integration, with minimal supervision. Demonstrates the ability to assemble products across multiple product families, interpret more complex documentation, and troubleshoot basic issues. Actively supports production flow, quality, and safety standards, including regular participation in the Safety Behavior Observation (SBO) program.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical, plumbing, and full-system products with minimal supervision, using detailed drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform moderately advanced assemblies with deep knowledge of component fitting, cable routing, basic functional checks, and rework as needed.
- Interpret updated documentation, identify inconsistencies, and communicate feedback to leads or engineering.
- Work across multiple product families with flexibility and attention to different process requirements.
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping, tool care, and safety, while mentoring Assembler I team members as needed.
- Proactively identify and report process or quality issues; suggest corrective actions or improvements.
- Transport materials and components within the work area using designated equipment.
- Assist other assemblers or departments to support production flow and priorities.
- Assist in training new or less experienced assemblers by sharing best practices.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to the SBO observation program.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with production and quality teams.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and move material. The employee frequently is required to walk, bend, lift and use arms, hands, and fingers to reach, lift, handle, and feel products. The employee must lift and/or move products up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Skilled in interpreting wiring diagrams, pneumatic/hydraulic layouts, and updated prints. Proficient in using torque drivers, multimeters, basic measurement tools, and power tools.
- Able to identify and resolve mechanical fit and routing issues with minimal direction. Understands hardware specifications, torque values, and assembly sequences.
- Confident with measurements, tolerances, and conversions between fractional and decimal formats
- Able to identify and correct basic nonconformities. Uses sound judgment in deciding when to escalate.
- Communicates clearly in English both verbally and in writing; provides feedback to improve instructions.
- Familiar with data entry in ERP systems or production logs; capable of reviewing electronic documents.
- Collaborates effectively; supports teammates across production lines and helps maintain workflow.
- Shifts between assemblies or processes as needed. Learns new product requirements quickly.
- Precise handling of parts, connectors, and small fasteners. Performs repeatable tasks with consistency.
- Models proper safety practices; reports hazards and participates actively in the SBO program.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in an electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly environment.
- Experience working across more than one product line preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
