The Programmer is responsible for creating, editing, and verifying CNC programs to produce precision-machined components that meet exacting quality standards, including those for semiconductor applications. This role requires strong CNC knowledge, experience with Fanuc controls, and proficiency with CAD/CAM software tools. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Create, edit, and prove CNC programs for machining operations.
- Utilize Fanuc controls for on-machine programming.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Apply CNC knowledge to select tooling, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.
- Use Pronest, CADMAN, and AutoCAD/SolidWorks Viewer to prepare and review programming files.
- Ensure all programs meet quality and dimensional specifications, including semiconductor-level surface finish requirements.
- Support machinists with program-related troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Maintain organized program files and documentation according to company standards.
- Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain clean work areas (5S).
- Standing and walking are a necessary part of the job.
- Lifting up to 55 lbs. unassisted.
- Bending, stooping, and reaching as required for machining and programming tasks.
- CNC programming experience with knowledge of machining processes.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and G-Code/M-Code.
- Proficiency in Pronest, CADMAN, and AutoCAD/SolidWorks Viewer.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of tooling, work holding, feeds, and speeds.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
