Job Description

n

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing tactical Human Resource (HR) support to Prime's employees, supervisors and managers. This position is responsible for being the first-line point of contact to support the delivery of Human Resources solutions by partnering with all other functions within Human Resources.

n

Responsibilities

n

n

• n Maintain a positive employee relations climate by responding to employees' concerns, addressing issues proactively and advising management regarding proper follow up n
  
  

n

• n Provide guidance and coaching to supervisors and managers on routine employee-relations and performance management issues; company policies and practices; provide recommendations to and escalate issues to HR leadership as necessary; and assist with the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or disciplinary action n
  
  

n

• n Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection process for entry level through manager level positions n
  
  

n

• n Assist supervisors and managers in writing clear and comprehensive job descriptions; work closely with compensation to evaluate positions n
  
  

n

• n Drive the annual performance appraisal process for designated customer groups, and audit appraisals to ensure employees receive clear, constructive and meaningful feedback n
  
  

n

• n Represent the HR Business Partner team by participating on HR project teams, and may lead smaller scope projects n
  
  

n

• n Other duties as assigned n

Minimum Qualifications

n

n

• n Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Development, Business Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required n
  
  

n

• n 2 years of work experience in Human Resources n
  
  

nn

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

n

• n Demonstrated ability to independently collaborate and consult with individuals at multiple levels of the organization n
  
  

n

• n Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills n
  
  

n

• n Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously n
  
  

n

• n Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and effectively handle sensitive issues and facilitate critical interactions n
  
  

n

• n Functional knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor and compliance requirements n
  
  

n

• n Intermediate proficiency of MS Office Suite n
  
  

n

• n Developed data analysis and interpretation skills n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n

• n Experience working with HR information systems (i.e., Workday) n
  
  

n

• n Experience and strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, recruitment, employment law, performance management systems, organizational effectiveness and change leadership n
  
  

n

• n PHR (Professional Human Resources) Certification n
  
  

n

• n Experience or knowledge of Medi-Cal or California laws and regulations n

Potential pay for this position ranges from $66,000.00 - $106,000.00 based on experience and skills.
