About the Role
Lead the development of our companies intelligent hardware ecosystem, including mission computers, avionics, embedded electronics, AI processing hardware, sensor integration, communications, power electronics, and hardware architecture for next-generation autonomous interceptor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of the complete avionics and mission computer architecture
- Select embedded processors, GPUs, FPGAs and AI accelerators
- Design sensor architectures (EO/IR, IMU, GPS, RF, radar)
- Develop high-speed digital interfaces and power electronics
- Own electronics packaging, SWaP optimization, and environmental qualification
- Lead hardware integration with propulsion, vehicle, and software teams
- Support HIL testing and transition to production
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering
- 10 years developing aerospace electronics or avionics
- Experience with mission computers, embedded hardware and digital interfaces
- Knowledge of FPGA, ARM, NVIDIA or similar embedded platforms
- Strong systems engineering and integration background
Preferred Qualifications
- Missile/UAV avionics
- MOSA/Open Mission Systems
- AI accelerators and edge computing
- Active DoD security clearance
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
