Duties

• Supervise daily cleaning operations, including commercial cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping tasks, ensuring all standards are met consistently.
• Lead, motivate, and train janitorial staff to perform their duties efficiently while maintaining a positive team environment.
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and quality of service.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to support ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with management on special projects or deep-cleaning initiatives to maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance.
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures.
• Supervising or management experience in hospitality or housekeeping environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work atmosphere.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and hotel or hospitality industry standards is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills for scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and coordinate with management teams.
