Location: Downtown Atlanta 30303 (HYBRID)
IMMEDIATE Senior Property Accountant role available! We are currently representing a client in the real estate development and property management sector, seeking a senior property accountant to join their team, due to continuous organizational growth and promotional opportunities.
The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible daily for the overall accounting and financial management of portfolio consisting of approximately 18 multi-family properties with a total gross rent potential of $12M. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for providing guidance to property managers and assistance for all accounting related aspects for managing the properties. This includes accounting treatment of various costs incurred by the property. Responsibilities also include providing directives to the accounts payable staff regarding general ledger coding for operating expenses and allocation of payroll.
The selected Senior Property Accountant MUST have previous multi-family property accounting experience, balance sheet reconciliation expertise and Yardi software usage.
