Mitigation Technician – Property Restoration/Water-Fire-Mold/IICRC

Location: Augusta, GA

Pay: $17–$24/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client provides emergency restoration services for residential and commercial properties, specializing in damage from water, fire, smoke, and mold. What sets them apart is their compassionate, fast-response approach combined with technical precision and integrity in everything they do.

They are looking for you, a hands-on Mitigation Technician, ready to take on a full-time, direct hire role supporting customers during high-stress situations and helping restore their spaces—and peace of mind.

What You Get To Do

• Respond to emergency property damage calls (water, fire, mold)
• Extract water and set up/monitor drying equipment
• Perform light demolition—removing drywall, flooring, etc.
• Record job site data including photos, moisture readings, and notes
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and tools
• Collaborate with team leads, property managers, and clients when needed
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Prior mitigation or restoration experience is a plus — willing to train motivated candidates
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working in tight, wet, or smoky spaces
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean background
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and ability to learn new tech/software
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but not required
