Registered Pharmacist

Location: White Plains, NY

Compensation: $111,376 – $167,066 annually (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time

Our client is a respected healthcare organization seeking a Registered Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a collaborative hospital environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring patient safety, optimizing therapeutic outcomes, and supporting excellence across all aspects of pharmacy operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review and verify patient medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness according to hospital and pharmacy policies.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Educate patients and staff on medication use, safety, and side effects.
• Participate in infection control, quality improvement, and risk management programs.
• Provide oversight and direction to Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Transporters.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, infection control standards, and departmental procedures.
• Support hospital initiatives through participation in projects, in-services, and continuing education.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and commitment to patient care and departmental excellence.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (minimum of BS in Pharmacy).
• Active New York pharmacist license (required).
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and pharmaceutical calculation proficiency.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
