The QEHS Specialist serves as the primary on-site resource for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) compliance, acting as the visible and trusted leader for regulatory and corporate standards. This role is responsible for executing site-level compliance activities, preparing and maintaining audit documentation, and ensuring operational alignment with internal policies and external certification requirements.
This position is highly tactical and execution-driven, focused on consistency, documentation accuracy, and day-to-day compliance reinforcement.

The QEHS Specialist serves as the primary on-site resource for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) compliance, acting as the visible and trusted leader for regulatory and corporate standards. This role is responsible for executing site-level compliance activities, preparing and maintaining audit documentation, and ensuring operational alignment with internal policies and external certification requirements.
This position is highly tactical and execution-driven, focused on consistency, documentation accuracy, and day-to-day compliance reinforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support internal and external audits, including documentation preparation and interaction with certifying bodies
- Maintain and manage QEHS documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and readiness for reviews
- Drive compliance with standards such as ISO, RIOS, R2v3, and e-Stewards (ISO experience required; others strongly preferred)
- Conduct daily safety activities, including safety walkthroughs, PPE compliance checks, hazard observations, and OSHA recordkeeping
- Manage and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely closure and process improvements
- Oversee incident and injury documentation, ensuring consistent follow-up and reinforcement of safety practices
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain compliance records and operational tracking (experience with Razor ERP is a plus, but not required)
- Support environmental and operational permitting processes
- Communicate compliance expectations clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading internal or external audits
- Working knowledge of ISO standards (experience with RIOS, R2v3, or e-Stewards preferred)
- Strong understanding of compliance documentation standards and presentation methods
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and digital compliance tools
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Technologically proficient with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- 100% onsite position with a standard Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
- Occasional flexibility in work hours may be required
