- Provide daily on-site leadership and operational oversight at the Mexico facility
- Partner closely with the Plant Manager to drive execution and improve plant performance
- Lead plant turnaround initiatives focused on stabilizing operations and improving profitability
- Improve key performance metrics including OEE, scrap, quality, safety, and labor productivity
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence tools
- Identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement sustainable, data-driven solutions
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards to ensure accountability and visibility across operations
- Lead change management efforts to improve behaviors, processes, and performance expectations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams
- Coach and develop plant leadership and frontline teams to strengthen accountability and engagement
- 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong background in plastics manufacturing required
- Experience with polypropylene and polystyrene materials strongly preferred
- Experience with pressure forming and thermoforming processes strongly preferred
- Proven success in plant turnaround, stabilization, or operational transformation environments
- Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Track record of improving OEE, scrap, labor productivity, and cost performance
- Experience working in or supporting international manufacturing operations (Mexico preferred)
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Engineering degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Must be comfortable with daily on-site presence in Mexico while being U.S.-based
