Business & Financial Advisory Director – Construction

Location: Atlanta Metro

Salary: $170-$180k

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote

Summary

ExecuSource is seeking an experienced Business & Financial Advisory Director to provide strategic accounting, finance, and business consulting services to clients across industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, technology, transportation, and professional services. This role partners closely with clients to deliver scalable accounting solutions, support growth initiatives, and serve as a trusted financial advisor.

What You Get To Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Advise clients on financial strategy, cash flow management, forecasting, and operational improvements.
• Serve as an outsourced or fractional Controller/CFO for client engagements.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, 1099 reporting, and indirect tax compliance.
• Implement, optimize, and convert accounting and financial systems.
• Resolve complex accounting and operational challenges while delivering high-quality client service.
  
  

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including 6 years in a leadership role.
• Construction industry experience required, either in industry or public accounting/advisory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Sage, SAP Business One, or similar.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, consultative professional willing to travel to client sites as needed.
