IMMEDIATE District Manager position available! We are currently representing a client in the workforce solution industry, seeking a District Manager to join their team on a direct hire (permanent) basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide employees and vendors to ensure strict adherence to client protocols, procedures, regulations, and expectations in the most efficient manner possible
- Conduct biannual performance evaluations, recommending adjustments in compensation, promotions, transfers, or terminations as appropriate
- Build and nurture strong, strategic client relationships; meet regularly with clients to evaluate cleaning standards and assess satisfaction
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and various company departments/divisions
- Lead service performance review meetings with clients to evaluate both internal and vendor performance; implement immediate corrective actions when necessary
- Coordinate and conduct quarterly business reviews with key clients
- Perform site surveys to determine appropriate staffing levels and assess cost implications
- Manage labor allocation and maintain budgetary control across accounts
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contractual commitments and deliverables
- Conduct ongoing quality assurance inspections at assigned locations
- Promote and uphold a culture of safety through routine on-site inspections and observations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred
- Strong understanding of custodial or commercial cleaning operations; industry experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage operations across multiple locations
- Experience overseeing and collaborating with vendors
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership within the service industry (custodial, janitorial, plumbing, or facility services).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with individuals at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and respectful demeanor
- Collaborative leadership style with strong team management capabilities
- High level of credibility with the ability to influence and drive decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong decision-making abilities, especially under pressure
