Rodeo Shop Merchandise Associate

ROLE SUMMARY 

The Coliseum Rodeo Shop Merchandise Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing retail environment. This role focuses primarily on merchandise presentation, stockroom organization, inventory replenishment, shipment processing, and maintaining merchandising standards throughout the store. 

The Merchandiser works closely with store management and the sales team to ensure merchandise is properly received, organized, displayed, replenished, and maintained to create an exceptional shopping experience for all guests. 

The Merchandiser is expected to take ownership of the overall organization and cleanliness of the store while providing friendly and professional guest service while working on the sales floor. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe stockroom at all times. 
• Organize merchandise in the stockroom by category, style, size, and/or designated storage location for efficient product retrieval and replenishment. 
• Ensure merchandise is properly folded, hung, sized, labeled and stored according to company standards. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing sales floor throughout each shift. 
• Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor consistently throughout the shift. 
• Monitor merchandise levels and identify products, sizes, and categories that need to be replenished. 
• Assist with receiving and processing incoming merchandise and shipments 
• Ensure new merchandise is processed efficiently and moved to the sales floor in a timely manner 
• Maintain cleanliness of merchandise fixtures, shelves, display areas, stockroom areas, floors and counters

ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. 

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs regularly. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. 

• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully. 

• Flexible schedule — must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. 

• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or guest-focused environments. 

• Strong multitasking and time management skills. 

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. 

• Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and apply it to sales interactions.
