- Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, equipment, and materials for therapy sessions.
- Assist patients with exercises, manual handling, and mobility activities under supervision to promote safe and effective rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, reporting changes in condition or response to treatment to the supervising therapist.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of therapy equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Facilitate patient education by providing instructions on exercises, health habits, and post-treatment care to promote ongoing recovery at home.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and assisting with clinic operations.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is necessary as we train on site.
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to effectively report patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Background in medical assisting, or related healthcare fields is advantageous but not required.
