Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, orthopedics, neurology, vestibular and geriatrics.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems accurately to document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning.
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care strategies to promote recovery and independence.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with clinical documentation standards and advances in physiotherapy practices.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, or home health environments.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, orthopedics, neurology, amputees and post cancer patients.
- Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation operations.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate discharge planning and patient rehabilitation goals.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate patients effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
