Leadman - Stacking and Treatment Operations

Gunnison Copper-formerly Excelsior Mining has an immediate employment opportunity for a Operations Supervisor -Leaching at its operations at Johnson Camp Mine / Gunnison Project located in southeastern Arizona between the cities of Benson and Willcox.

Stacking and Treatment Operations Leadman, leads and supports operations.  

Responsibilities:

Lead and train team members in stacking and treatment operations

Ensure daily tasks are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and MSHA regulations

Coordinate with the supervisor on daily production goals and shift priorities

Monitor equipment and materials for proper operation and report maintenance needs

Assist with safe startup and shutdown of solution systems as directed

Keep accurate notes of shift activities and communicate progress to supervisors

Perform hands-on work as needed and support a positive team environment

Participate in tailgate and safety meetings 

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in leaching, stacking, or treatment operations
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills for entering data and reviewing reports
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and environmental compliance 

Additional Requirements:

•  Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
•  Must have the ability to work in a team environment
•  Occasionally lifting and carrying 1-50 lbs. may be required
