Shift: Fill Time or Part-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $32–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Join Our Team as a Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN)

Boca Circle Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our clinical team. In this vital role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (IDT) to deliver high-quality wound and skin care services, ensuring optimal comfort, healing, and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
• Assist with completion of applicable sections of the Minimum Data Set (MDS)
• Review, update, and follow skin and wound care policies and procedures
• Assess, treat, and manage primary and secondary wounds
• Identify and manage risk factors for pressure ulcers and secondary wound infections
• Perform routine skin assessments and assist with pain management related to wound care
• Educate residents and families on wound treatments and care plans in a clear, compassionate manner
• Evaluate nutritional needs of residents with wounds and healing concerns
• Recommend appropriate pressure-relieving devices, wound dressings, therapies, and products to the IDT
• Promptly report any suspicion of abuse, neglect, fraud, waste, or crime to the Administrator or designee
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; wound care experience preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus
