Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality resident care
- Supervise Clinical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Deliver hands-on nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans
- Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
- Coordinate employee schedules and ensure compliance with facility and state regulations
- Address resident and family concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Complete required Preceptor Training and support staff development initiatives
- Promote quality improvement programs and clinical best practices
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered work environment
- Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the State of Florida
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care
- At least one (1) year of nursing leadership or management experience
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage staff and prioritize resident care needs
