Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and accurately record medications and treatments.
- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Observe and report residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition.
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
- Document care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and facility policies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Support CNAs and nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident assessments.
- Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid LPN license in Florida.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or related settings.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
