Position: Unit Manager (RN)

Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $60/hour

Position Summary:

Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager (RN) to join our leadership team. In this key role, you will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure the highest quality of care, and support our mission to provide compassionate and resident-centered services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior nursing leadership to manage daily operations in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure staff adherence to job descriptions and address grievances or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide expert guidance, support, and supervision to nursing staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure consistent, high-quality care while minimizing overtime and agency use.
• Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and assist with developing resident discharge plans.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of nursing staff.
• Foster a compassionate, respectful, and team-oriented environment for residents, families, and staff.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
