Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate unit staffing to ensure consistent, high-quality resident care.
- Supervise and mentor Clinical Nurses and Nursing Assistants, fostering growth and professional development.
- Provide direct resident care in alignment with individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct and document comprehensive resident assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Lead by example—model professionalism, complete required training, and promote teamwork.
- Participate in a mandatory on-call rotation as part of the management team.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives within the unit.
- Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 3 years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
- At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
- Infection Prevention Certificate required, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting staff excellence.
