- Pay Rate: Up to $120,000 annually

The Travel Physical Therapist will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and directing physical therapy services while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards. Key Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee physical therapy services across assigned Skilled Nursing Facilities in accordance with physician orders, APTA standards, and Florida practice acts.
- Plan, organize, and monitor physical therapy programs to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to therapy outcomes and take action to improve performance.
- Supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring accountability and adherence to professional standards.
- Conduct resident screenings, evaluations, treatment planning, discharge planning, and accurate documentation.
- Provide detailed clinical data for assessments, including functional status, therapy minutes, goals, range of motion, balance, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, sanitation, and safety of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care that enhances mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
- Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program meeting state licensure requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and long-term care standards.
- Ability and willingness to travel between Lakeland-area facilities.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
