Overview:
Park Avenue Extended Care is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and ensure high-quality care for residents during evening and overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
- Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
- Review daily patient conditions, occurrence reports, and handle medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prepare nursing care statistics.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license in New York
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or ARC)
- Infection Control Certificate
- NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate
- Nursing Home experience preferred
- SigmaCare experience preferred
