Schedule: PRN (as needed)

Pay Rate: $15–$18 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the overall upkeep of our facility. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform painting throughout the facility, including wall preparation and finishing
• Patch and repair drywall as needed
• Move furniture and equipment (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Previous painting experience required
• Experience with drywall patching and preparation
• Ability to lift, move, and position items up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
