Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs.
- Lead and encourage participation in group and individual activities, including games, arts and crafts, music, religious services, holiday celebrations, and special events.
- Provide one-on-one visits, motivation, and reality orientation to residents as needed.
- Observe, document, and report resident participation, behaviors, and progress.
- Encourage resident and family involvement in activity planning and care goals.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Set up, supervise, and clean activity areas before and after programs.
- Maintain recreation supplies, equipment, and activity materials.
- Safely transport residents to and from activities within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and all facility policies and procedures.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recreation, activities, or related experience (long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Creative thinker with the ability to engage residents of varying abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Salary : $20 - $24
