The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a compassionate, driven, and experienced Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead our dedicated nursing team. In this full-time leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing unit operations, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and exceptional resident care
- Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, supporting their growth and performance
- Provide hands-on resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of resident treatment plans
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure compliance with state and facility documentation standards
- Serve as a liaison for residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to resolve concerns
- Complete required Preceptor Training and lead by example
- Champion innovation and quality improvement initiatives within the unit
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
- Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience (preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting)
- At least 1 year of nursing leadership or management experience
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality resident care and mentoring clinical staff
