Facility: Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Location: Boca Raton, Florida

Shift: Part-Time – Morning/Evening (Flexible)

Salary: $16 per hour

Position Summary:

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow daily assignments and schedules to clean, strip, seal, wax, and buff facility floors
• Properly maintain and care for all cleaning equipment
• Clean and water large indoor plants
• Keep outdoor grounds free of debris; sweep entrances and patios; clean ashtrays and outdoor furniture
• Help with light equipment maintenance (e.g., lubricating wheelchairs, shower chairs, carts)
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and materials
• Complete other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness and safety standards
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to lift, move, and operate floor equipment as required
