West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Evening Supervisor (RN/LPN) to lead our nursing staff and uphold exceptional standards of resident care. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director and Associate Director of Nursing to support daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of resident care.
- Monitor and adjust staffing to ensure safe and adequate coverage.
- Conduct rounds, evaluate care quality, and report observations to leadership.
- Assist during state surveys and inspections.
- Participate in creating and implementing resident care and discharge plans.
- Address staff concerns professionally and promote a positive work environment.
- Welcome and assist residents and families during admissions.
- Accompany physicians on resident rounds and oversee accurate medication and treatment administration.
- Provide direct nursing care and assist with assessments when needed.
- Participate in staff evaluations and support the professional development of LPNs and CNAs.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted Florida RN or LPN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Current CPR certification.
