Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dietary department operations during assigned shifts.
- Oversee tray line activities to ensure accurate meal service and resident satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain food temperature logs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of dietary staff coverage.
- Support dietary staff and provide guidance to maintain efficient workflow.
- Ensure therapeutic diets are properly followed and implemented.
- Utilize Meal Tracker and SigmaCare systems for meal management and documentation.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' nutritional needs.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dietary Supervisor in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility.
- Working knowledge of Meal Tracker and SigmaCare required.
- Understanding of therapeutic and modified diets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food service regulations and sanitation standards in healthcare settings.
