Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble resident meal trays according to individual dietary requirements and preferences
- Deliver and collect meal trays efficiently from designated areas
- Break down trays, clean and sanitize kitchenware, and maintain organized workstations
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing food service areas, and proper trash disposal
- Assist with food preparation for special meals and facility events
- Follow all sanitary regulations, safety standards, and facility policies
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the dietary department
- Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and stored
- Required: Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and batch cooking
- Professional cooking experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines accurately
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to providing quality service
