OpenShift Engineer

Primary Skills: Linux, Openshift, Kubernetes, Shell scripting.

Responsibilities:

· Enable engineering initiatives of standardizing environment build & configuration processes

· Enable Engineering Product certifications (Infrastructure, Configuration & Business enablement)

· Infrastructures build & usage certifications for on-prem Windows/Linux infrastructure and containerized environment

· Infrastructure build & product configuration automation (using Ansible)

· Work with project teams and developers to ensure those teams understand compatibility with desktop and server platforms

· Create and contribute to processes for missing or new solutions that are implemented due to gap

· Risk & Compliance reviews of Vulnerabilities/EOVS

Qualifications:

· 5-7 years of relevant experience is enabling on-prem Windows/Linux platform with experience in containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance as an Engineering or Level 3 expert

· Experience in troubleshooting/maintenance of applications on Windows/Linux servers or containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure with interest in growing in Infrastructure architecture and middleware responsibilities

· Experience in enabling and maintaining products on Windows/Linux infrastructure with exposure to containerized open-shift or cloud infrastructure

· Experience with automation or lo-code technologies (Automation Anywhere, Appian Boardwalk, or other automation technologies)

· Expert hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Linux Scripting, Ansible, etc.

· Experience is setting up Application Monitoring implementation (AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.)

· Must have Linux app server (Apache, Tomcat, etc.) and Linux shell script/troubleshooting experience

· Experience with the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipeline tools

· Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow and JIRA

· Schedulers (Autosys, etc.)

· IT Support based qualifications / training
