Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Test Technician / Engineering Technician to support hardware validation and testing activities for electronic systems and components. This role requires experience working with electronic test equipment, troubleshooting hardware issues, and supporting product quality initiatives in a lab or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware validation testing on systems and components with minimal supervision
- Operate and maintain a variety of test equipment including spectrum analyzers, power supplies, environmental chambers, and vibration testing equipment
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and electronic system issues
- Support equipment calibration, maintenance, and readiness activities in compliance with quality standards (ISO9001 preferred)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support testing deliverables and product quality initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline OR GED/High School Diploma with 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Experience in hardware/electronics testing or validation
- Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, environmental chambers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, telecommunications, RF testing, or hardware validation environments
- Exposure to ISO9001 quality processes and calibration procedures
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
