The Department of Management in the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor in Hospitality Management. The preferred applicant will have completed their PhD in Hospitality or a related business discipline with a research focus on the hospitality industry. We seek individuals with an active research program who are well-equipped to contribute to our research aspirations by publishing in elite hospitality and/or business journals. Also critical is a demonstrated capacity to teach courses in hospitality and the ability to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.

Conduct research and maintain a strong record of academic output such as publication of peer reviewed journal articles and presentations at national conferences.
Teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate level depending on needs and qualifications.
Participate as a member of the Department, College and University through appropriate service activities.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Hospitality or a related business discipline is required to be considered. We seek individuals who have a record of research, a demonstrated capability to teach hospitality management courses, who are dedicated to student success, and who are committed to working in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have published their research in top journals in their field and demonstrate a robust pipeline of ongoing research, have teaching experience, have experience contributing back to the field through service opportunities.
Industry certifications such as Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE), Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), or other relevant certifications.
At least three years of professional experience in the hospitality industry.

The Department of Management is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and scholarly practitioners. We support BBA, MBA, HCAD, MSHRM, EMBA and PhD programs with classes in general management, hospitality, organizational behavior, leadership, entrepreneurship, international management, human resource management and strategy.
