Validate backend logic in SQL and perform source‑to‑dashboard checks. Conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Execute pre‑checks for data and refresh issues. Enhance report performance and driver forward user experience improvements. Document data lineage, transformations, and reporting logic. Establish structured standards for documenting and maintaining SQL and Power BI dashboards to ensure consistent, scalable BI development across the team. Support team in designing and developing new dashboards and semantic data models. Contribute to continuous improvement and automation. Skills & Experience Advanced Power BI skills, including report building, data modelling, DAX, and performance optimization. Strong DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling. Demonstrated skill in performance tuning and governance (RLS/OLS) including setting up and maintaining Power Automate workflows. Ability to apply UX best practices, ensuring a clear, consistent, and user‑friendly front‑end experience Experience building and implementing governance processes for SQL scripts, data pipelines, and dashboards (including versioning, documentation standards, naming conventions, and quality checks). Understanding of financial KPIs, P&L structures, cost center logic, and management reporting is an asset (preferably in a SAP environment). Clear communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Comfortable working within an international team located in Germany and Malaysia.
