Test Manager
Position Summary
We are searching for an Aerospace Environmental Test manager to oversee complex environmental qualification and acceptance testing for flight and mission-critical hardware. This role serves as a technical authority in vibration and TVAC testing and leads the team responsible for delivering high-quality test results in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental test campaigns from concept through execution, covering vibration, thermal, shock, and TVAC disciplines.
- Manage a skilled team of engineers and technicians, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, review, and maintain test procedures and facility documentation.
- Ensure test activities comply with applicable aerospace standards and customer requirements.
- Oversee operations of environmental test equipment and ensure facility readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish test requirements and resolve issues during execution.
- Perform data analysis and create high-quality test reports for stakeholders.
- Advance process efficiency, documentation structure, and facility capabilities.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related field.
- 7 years of environmental test experience, including significant leadership roles.
- Direct experience with vibration testing and thermal vacuum test systems.
- Strong familiarity with aerospace environmental standards.
