Test Engineer
Overview
We are hiring a Test Engineer to support the verification and validation of mechanisms designed for high-reliability space applications. This role involves leading test campaigns, improving test processes, and contributing directly to product readiness for spacecraft-level integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee mechanical and environmental testing of flight mechanisms.
- Develop test plans, procedures, tooling, documentation, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide feedback to design teams to improve manufacturability and integration efficiency.
- Support design and system trade studies regarding testability, workflow, and production speed.
- Compile detailed test reports based on data analysis and team observations.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations of test failures or anomalies.
- Contribute manufacturing engineering support to ongoing production.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferably 2 years or more in aerospace or a similar technical environment.
- Experience with mechanism development, environmental testing, or precision hardware.
- Strong communication skills and ability to function in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams.
- Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the US.
