You will lead execution of the company's next generation ground architecture program, enabling scalable operations across its satellite constellations while driving automation and long term architectural goals. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and mission ops, reporting into program leadership.
What you will be doing
- Lead execution of the ground architecture implementation roadmap across engineering, mission ops, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software teams
- Coordinate delivery of the target ground architecture supporting multiple satellite constellations
- Drive cross functional planning, execution, dependency management, and milestone tracking across technical organizations
- Partner with engineering leadership to align architecture decisions with operational and scalability goals
- Establish program governance, technical reviews, and executive reporting
- Identify program risk early and drive resolution through data driven decisions
- Coordinate readiness activities for deployment, integration, verification, and operational transition
What you will bring
- Must be a US citizen
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Typically 12 years leading complex technical programs in aerospace, space systems, defense, robotics, or telecom
- Experience managing large cross functional programs spanning software, infrastructure, hardware, and operations
- Experience delivering ground systems, mission operations systems, satellite operations infrastructure, or similarly complex distributed systems
- Proven ability to build integrated program plans, set technical milestones, and manage dependencies across engineering orgs
- Strong grasp of systems engineering principles: integration, verification, validation, operational readiness
- Active US security clearance, or ability to obtain one, desirable
