We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design, layout, and testing of printed circuit boards for advanced spacecraft electronics.
Operating within a highly collaborative startup environment, you will own designs from initial concept through production, working closely with electrical, mechanical, and embedded software engineers to develop robust, flight-ready hardware.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, problem solving, and taking ownership of products throughout the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Own PCB design from circuit design and schematic capture through PCB layout, bring-up, and validation testing
- Conduct trade studies balancing electrical performance, signal integrity, thermal considerations, manufacturability, cost, and schedule
- Collaborate with embedded software engineers during board bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration
- Support board-level and system-level integration activities, including electronics assembly, rework, and testing
- Plan, support, and analyse environmental qualification campaigns, including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and radiation testing
- Contribute to design documentation, technical reviews, and test reporting
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1-3 years of professional experience in PCB design and layout using Altium Designer
- Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes, design for manufacturing (DFM), and electronics assembly techniques
- Strong interest in hands-on hardware development
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative engineering environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Communications systems or antenna integration
- Environmental testing and qualification of hardware for harsh operating environments
- Aerospace, defence, satellite, or other high-reliability hardware experience
- Base salary: $140,000 - $160,000
