Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role

The role is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of native mobile applications that deliver high-performance user experiences. The engineer will build new customer-facing features from scratch, optimize application performance, and ensure architectural consistency across the codebase.

This position collaborates closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineering teams to define API contracts, run feature experiments, and continuously deploy robust mobile software to millions of active users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new, user-facing features using Swift/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android
• Optimize application performance, memory footprint, and startup times using profiling tools like Instruments or Android Profiler
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define robust, efficient, and well-documented REST or GraphQL APIs
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI automation tests to maintain high-quality standards across release cycles
• Participate in design reviews, write technical RFCs, and actively contribute to mobile architectural decisions and CI/CD automation pipelines
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional experience in native mobile application development (iOS or Android)
• Deep proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK, or Kotlin and the Android SDK, along with modern declarative UI frameworks
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture, and reactive programming
• Experience with local storage solutions, offline sync strategies, and multi-threaded asynchronous programming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise), or cross-platform exploration
