Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable SQL queries, data models, and BI dashboards in Looker or Tableau to track core business metrics
- Execute rigorous A/B testing analysis and cohort studies to evaluate feature releases and optimize user retention funnels
- Partner with data engineers to define telemetry requirements and validate instrumentation across mobile and web platforms
- Translate ambiguous product questions into structured analytical frameworks and clear, data-driven recommendations
- Automate recurring reporting workflows and establish data quality monitoring checks to ensure metric consistency
- 2–4 years of experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning on cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Amplitude
- Working knowledge of Python or R for exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling
- Bonus: Experience with dbt (data build tool), basic data pipeline orchestration using Airflow, or exposure to event tracking tools like Segment
