The team relies on this position to maintain financial integrity, optimize month-end close processes, and partner cross-functionally to scale financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls compliant with SOX frameworks across all financial operations
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses prepared by the finance team
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits and quarterly reviews
- Oversee revenue recognition, technical accounting assessments, and technical memo documentation
- Automate and scale accounting workflows using ERP systems and financial tooling
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, combining public accounting and corporate tech experience
- Active CPA license required
- Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday) and advanced Excel modeling
- Bonus: Experience with IPO readiness, SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q), and automated close management tools
