Aadvantage Laundry Systems is a market leader in commercial laundry equipment distribution, serving customers across Texas and the Central/South-Central U.S. Our clients include laundromats, hotels, healthcare providers, and multi-family housing operators. As part of a publicly traded organization, we operate with a high level of accountability and compliance. We are currently seeking a Regional HR/Payroll Manager to oversee human resources, payroll, and serve as a liaison for our property and casualty insurance matters across all locations.
The Regional HR/Payroll Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing HR and payroll functions across multiple branches while ensuring full compliance with public company standards. This individual will also serve as the primary liaison between the company and property & casualty insurance brokers, assisting in claims management and ensuring adequate coverage for operational risk.
Compliance & Public Company Governance
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple states
- Maintain accurate, auditable records to support public company reporting and SOX controls
- Lead responses to internal and external audits (HR/payroll, DOL, EEO, insurance, etc.)
- Uphold internal controls for payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee documentation
- Process and manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll through ADP with a high degree of accuracy
- Oversee all payroll-related reporting, tax filings, garnishments, and benefit deductions
- Ensure payroll compliance with internal audit standards and corporate finance requirements
- Lead employee lifecycle processes including hiring, onboarding, terminations, and leave management
- Partner with regional managers to ensure consistent policy implementation
- Serve as a trusted HR resource to field and office employees for issues involving policy, benefits, or compliance
- Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records as required by law and public company standards
- Act as primary point of contact for the company’s property and casualty insurance brokers
- Support the submission and management of insurance claims (e.g., vehicle, property, general liability)
- Coordinate insurance policy renewals, coverage updates, and COI requests
- Work with internal teams to gather documentation needed for claims and audits
- Maintain and update HRIS and payroll platforms with accurate employee data
- Generate HR and payroll reports for executive and finance teams including headcount, labor cost analysis, turnover, and compliance status
- 3 years of HR and payroll leadership experience across multiple locations and states
- Proficiency with ADP payroll systems is required
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and wage compliance
- Experience managing compliance for public company or highly regulated environments
- Prior experience working with or coordinating property and casualty insurance (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus
