We’re seeking a Security Guard - Full Time to work as a member of our security team from 9:30 am - 6 pm Monday thru Friday when scheduled, and rotating Saturday's, once a month generally.
You’ll be surrounded by a team dedicated to changing the way personal property is sold, bought, and moved across the country and across the world–and we have a lot of fun while we’re doing it!

As a security Officer, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where team members, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

As a security Officer, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where team members, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.
Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of the assigned facility
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and persons on company property
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
- Complete daily Activity Log
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes)
- Render First Aid and/or contact 911 when medical emergencies occur
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
- Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have
- Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed
- Monitor alarms and security cameras
- Regular communication with the Security Manager and others across the company as needed
- Assist with facilities related duties, responsibilities and projects as well as anything else that may be needed throughout the warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision and as a member of a team
- Committed, self-motivated, and reliable, with reliable transportation
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must pass a FBI/BCI background check
- Ability to obtain a valid OPOTC 20-Hour Basic Handgun Course (training cost covered by EBTH)
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and respond quickly in stressful situations
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
- Working knowledge of basic security techniques
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work Saturday’s as scheduled (not all weekends)
- Extended period of standing/walking
- Extended viewing of CCTV
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
